This striking piece depicts a serene tropical island scene, with elegant birds in flight set amongst palm trees and lush foliage, all executed in Moorcroft’s traditional tube-lined technique. The rich palette of deep blues, greens and soft natural tones creates depth and atmosphere, while the glossy glaze enhances the finely modelled detail. Designed by Nicola Slaney and Emma Bossons and released in 2000 as part of the Dateline Series celebrating the new millennium, this example is a numbered limited edition (15/300), adding to its desirability.
