I went with what the other reviewer said about the brass spring one because thats which one broke on mine so they said the black spring cable is more like the original i got it and its working good so far.On my hook up i put a long bolt through the engagement pulley because if i left the hook up how the factory sets it the spring will rub the deck belt til the belt breaks so i raised the spring up some to keep the rubbing from happening.The new engagement cable comes looking to short but its a perfect fit. It only takes a few seconds to put on
